Mystery Author...this is wonderful.
I am a "artist" and I enjoy painting even though I'm not often the best at it. I LOVE how you used the metaphor of "painting" winter. And the paint dripping down in white creating the snow. It captures winter perfectly! The image you chose is wonderful as well. I truly enjoyed this, and I wish you the best of luck in the contest!

I like the image you have portrayed. God is the artist and like all His creations in nature, snow is one of my favourites, especially if I am safe and warm inside.
