I love your flash fiction.... Great entry for the Short Story Writing Prompt contest. You managed to write a complete story in a few words, that's harder than it seems.

Well, while I found this narrative very descriptive of the telling of a person's feelings at that time of night. And, this is not an insult. Where is the STORY? Beginning, middle, and end.

This is a good story for the prompt line. Looking at a full moon for some reason does cause you to start thinking of other times when the moon was full and you were in love. I like the words you've used in this story. They almost sound like poetry.

Beth, thank you, do not do much prose, perhaps that is why it may seem more like a free verse poem. I like to practice writing however, it does make one think.

This is a nicely imagined romantic piece, you create that moment when through the image of the moon, you are transported to all those romantic moments of life, past and future included. It's like a window onto the soul. Detailed descriptions of the night air and the light of the moon flesh out the scene. It's that moment in the darkness, alone with your lover, when the emotions hidden inside bubble up to the surface. estory

There is a nice lyrical quality to your writing...seems like you've likely been a writer for some time.
There are several strong entries in this contest and yours is one of them. Yours is the only one I have read that mentions the Beaver moon twice (though not in those words.) I thought it was a good thing to go back and reconnect to the beginning of your story.
Your last line is a strong one...journeys without needing a passport. Well-done.
