I had to read your poem a couple of times because I was thinking of physical change, not, as I believe you intend it, as a change in personality. Then your last lines make a world of sense:
you've stopped living/
'your' life/
'their' way.
Yeah, I like that thought.

You know , the saddest feeling is when you want something dearly for a cause and it is just out of reach. The sixth star. And I know it matters little to you that I do not have one, because you know how much your words resonate with me...always. A large amount or very little, it matters not...the languid effort (positive) in which the words flow effortless, like a thistles on a breezy day. There is another author that has been missing a time that remind of your work, and there was nothing she could write badly...came from within. Such are you, just born to express, born to write. Such an inner sense of beauty. You motivate me in appearance only.
This poem I short, but how it is worth every star I could give, such the ower of its philosophy in which none can argue or question. Beautiful, yet hard hitting for some.
