I like you use of alliteration. Also, your onomatopoetic words will draw the reader in. There is a nice touch of a hint of the era through the setting, expressions, cadence and language in general. This poem has a jolly tone. Well done.

And please excuse the EXTREME TARDINESS of this reply -- taking care of all of my father's affairs and making sure my mother was all set to move forward really over-whelmed whatever spare time used to exist (lol!!). I like this poem about wizard. I like the honest politician, the dancing butterfly, long lost things reappearing and the unicorn. What a bright future! Or no, it is the work of a wizard. It is nice to dream.

This is a marvellously written ballad and a classic one at that, a very smoothly written work that rings of great language and an articulate presentation, you've created an excellent and most enjoyable cacophony of image bearing sight and sound.
