Oh music has a habit of touching our memory and bring back those special scenes from the past. Your Mum had good taste in music here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Hello, anonymous,
Excellent entry for the 3-6-9 Music Poem writing prompt contest. Good syllables count and connection between lines. It flows nicely. I like the presentation.
I love the moonlight sonata..
Good luck in the contest.

A very well-written 3-6-9 Poem about music that we can enjoy in so many ways, especially just listening us extremely relaxing and soothing to the soul. If we can play an instrument it is even more soothing.

This is a beautiful and sensitive presentation for the 3-6-3 Music Poetry prompt. Your picture as well as your words have class and speak to how music evokes memories and gives us comfort.

You have used several literary techniques. Your allusion will draw the reader in. Your alliteration is rhythmic. The s's may be the sound of the breath drawn in at the beauty striking their ears and of the peacefulness. The m's create the sound of smoothness. This was fun.

Thanks for sharing your musical nostalgia :) A sweet dedication to your mom too I believe.
Here are a few possible corrections:
* brings her back, every -> Comma not required
* piano sonata's -> sonatas
Hope it was helpful. Keep writing. Cheers,
George

And who played the flute? It think that other instrument is a flute, isn't it? My only query is Am-a-de-us? Four syllables in my pronunciation. I imagine you are combining my last to syllables to rhyme with 'juice' but I have never heard it said that way. A case of benefit of the doubt I think.

I thought this was terrific. I think the third stanza was by far my favorite. The connection you share between music and your mother was wonderful. The other stanzas weren't as personal so didn't have the same "punch". Great job!
