Simply nice. To me, winter marks the end of one's life. Plants bloom all year long, til winter comes and puts an end to their growth. A fisherman takes out what he can lure. And so as winter falls, so do the "souls" of the plants; into a wasteland they go.

This presentation is hunting and sad. It evokes thought and emotion and I like that very much. It is a six to me but unfortunately, I am all out of them. :(

Brilliant segue--thanks for including prior in notes--most don't--so much easier to appreciate in context. Stunning and elegant imagery with a near-rhyme holds/souls bonus.

Hello Yvette.

I am not following this story but the phrasing you used is expressive in declaring the power of winter over its captives. We are all held captive when it strikes.

Staggering Reality

Hello, Yvette,

A wonderful addition to our book but unfortunately Ulla made a mistake and now our chapters are off. It's all fixable so it's not a big deal. I added the chapters so far to give you an idea of what to write. I am sorry for the extra work.

hugs,
gypsy

Dont I have to wait until Ulla posts hers then?
reply by Gypsy Blue Rose on 07-Nov-2020
yes, I will check to see when she is done and send you a message
reply by Gypsy Blue Rose on 07-Nov-2020
She decided to take hers out :( All you have to do is go to your posting and change the chapter number from four to three.
reply by the author on 07-Nov-2020
I changed both the chapter and the posting to follow properly-- it didn't 'fit' with a different premise... now it follows in both correct count and concept! ;) :) Take care, my lady, and thanx for keeping us on track! ;)

It looks great and it does fit in better. Thank you!

There's on thing about winter, it tends to discourage one from going outside, so it holds one captive to its "white" magic. A beautifully written renga Yvette, blessings Roy
