I loved the subject of this contest entry. We do need faith in ourselves. If we believe, we can achieve. I keep trying to instill that in my first graders. Thank you for sharing this poem and I wish you the best of luck.

These abab quatrains tell a truth. But for some this faith is hard to find. Maybe it is a little of faith in oneself and religious faith you allude to that allow one to live free of most distress. Or get through the troubles more easily.
