The only negative about faith in one's ability is when it is grossly overrated or over stated. It is at time such as that when a person is subjected to great disappointment and heartbreak. Healthy pride in ones worth is great as a motivator and is instrumental in achieving great things.

This is the most unusual Faith poem I believe I've read. It has excellent rhymes and meter and puts forth a most original idea, I believe. I imagine this might do quite well in the faith contest. It is certainly a creative original.

Your indication that confidence and faith in oneself is faith in God, since we are supposed to mirror Him, and he is in all of us, makes perfect sense. The rest ..

"Faith in self unlocks the gate
to fortune, and sure success
making us, of course, the great
moreover, free from distress!" fits nicely.

The author's words are engaging, interesting, clear and creative. I found
this poem reminding me of a plaque I have hanging saying "With God all
things are possible". I definitely believe in the words of this poem. The poem flows and connects well. Have a great week!

I like the fact that you wrote about 'faith' in 'yourself'. A different twist from many of the others.

The fact that you have 'historical mentors' can always help.

This is an unique entry to the My Faith contest. It is well written with no errors. It carries a powerful message and gives good examples of faith in oneself. Nicely done.

nicely done like the reference to Mt. Rushmore. Like the concept of faith in one self being able to move mountains and accomplish anything like the traditional verse
