Awesome writing. Streams flow Washing desert sand. Grains will grow where nothing grew. Nicely done. I absolutely love your photo the vibrant colours jump out at you.

I love that picture. It's a beautiful thought to think of something growing where nothing has grown before. It's interesting to think how grains of desert sand can flow from streams. This will be a wonderful addition to the Renga book. There must be quite a collection by now. judi

Great use of alliteration of "s" and "g" words in your couplet! I'm wondering which poem preceded yours.
Your poem echoes Scripture to me that "streams flow washing desert sands" just like the Lord will restore and refresh and cause to grow even where nothing grew before!

This is really deep, Roy. And ever so beautiful in every way. "Grains will grow" is a very interesting concept. Never even heard of it, let alone thought of it. Will chew on it for awhile! What can grow out of a grain of sand? Hum ........

Lovely! I see you took on the added challenge of an internal rhyme of flow and grow--alliteration in GR as well as S and W--wonder what strain of grain (see, I can rhyme too!) can grow in a well-watered desert.

same as fires...
you can't stop mother nation my sweet friend...where God wants life to grow...it's going to...I love your poem you...and love the picture...very nicely written...love Linda xxoo
