This seems to be an ekphrastic poem about the picture. Whoever this is seems very comfortable. Those look like Christmas socks. So maybe this person is thinking that the season is near so it is time to start thinking about it.

The reader is left with a warm feeling as they can image holding a cup in their hands. "Cozy pleasures" make me want to curl up in a fuzzy blanket and watch the ire burn in the fireplace.

Readers who live in the northern or eastern parts of the US. will identify. Some like myself probably have begun heating their cider. I will be getting another quart the next time I go to my fruit & veggie market. I like to sprinkle a little cinnamon in mine and have a few butter cookies with it. Cheese & crackers are good too. This was a yummy poem.

The Speaker here is absolutely right. There is nothing more delightful than a cup of hot cider on a chilly autumn evening. Good use of C-words in every line. I do not, however, think the apostrophe is necessary in "ev'nings."
