I like cheese too, but the strong Cheeses I gotta pass. Thanks for your review.

I love cheese--but not all types, haven't even tried them all. Your poem is vividly descriptive, informative, and entertaining--a good contest entry. What about brussels sprouts?! I love them, but they smell AWFUL.

Yeah, it's a toss up between stinky cheese, and Brussle sprouts. I'll go with the sprouts. Do like Swiss and cheddar, though. Thanks.

The author's words are interesting, clear and creative. I found these words
to express well the different preferences each of us have. I found the
poem making the reader smile and found humor in these words. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork goes well with this poem.

Oh, I love stinky Limburger, but I never understood why it had to smell bad. What a wonderfully written poem. I wish I had a six for you.
Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day and God bless.

This is an inventive write and this prompt has brought some really clever poems from our clever poets and yours is no exception, a delightfully rhymed and metered poem and I adore the subject matter too, but plain old English Mature cheddar is for me, love Dolly x

Thanks Dolly, had a lot of fun writing this. Cheddar and swiss for me.

The picture you chose is perfect. I like your play on words too. This is one of my favorite literary techniques. This poem has many strong sensory images. The reader is brought into the world of cheese and is immersed in all the allusions. Well done.

Thanks Liz, great review. Harold is a real person, he's a well known recipe writer. Got a bit flack for his comments in his book.

Cute write for the 'Funny, Not Funny contest. I enjoy cheese but have been a bit put off by some of the stinkiest! Love the picture you chose to go with your creative writing.

So many people feel the very same about this subject, and their reactions are almost identical. I found it amusing, and enjoyed how you handle this subject!

Hi, Rebecca, thanks for the read. Dr Harold had the 'write' idea. But he caught a lot of flack.
