Hi Mary,
This is a beautiful tribute to aunts. When my two sisters and I were young, we hated our aunt to come and visit. She would make us clean the house from top to bottom, including the refrigerator, walls, and windows. My mother loved it. My aunt never had children, but became our mother figure after our mom died. I love that you prompted fond memories of aunts. Well done.

This is a beautiful tribute to aunts. When my two sisters and I were young, we hated our aunt to come and visit. I do agree, Aunts are so important and I sure hope I have been a good one to my nieces and nephews. Mine were important in my life, especially when I was younger. This is a good write to rmind us to apprecite our aunts.

Thank you for your review and kind comments. I was thinking of my own aunt who passed away a few months ago at age 99. She in our younger years would take us on Sunday rides to historical sites, ice cream shops etc.
