This six word poem, An Experience, has the required word count and notes the moment when something or someone full of promise proves not to be. A hollow sense follows.

Patricia,
This may be a small writing- but it is a mighty one. I think that many of us have been in a relationship that went south in a hurry.....or maybe..over a long stretched out sour period of time.
Well done.

This is an excellent entry for the six word contest. You managed to say a lot in those few words. What more can I say about six words except that it is very nicely done.

Well said in one line. This pretty much sums it up, albeit tomes have been written on the theme of love lost. Impressive alliteration SSSSS=5 stars! Good luck.

It's one of life's mysteries, how we humans can be 'so sweet' and can after a time become 'so sour'- the sentiment is well portrayed here within the limitations of the format

You pack a lot of meaning into these six words. Who has not had a "sweet" relationship that turned "sour". Too often it's a marriage. You allow your reader to fill in all the backstory from his own experience.

I love the message behind your poem and how you told it in only six words! I feel like it perfectly describes the experiences of breaking up and how your emotions can change so quickly through that experience.

Hello Patricia.
You've written an excellent poem for the six word contest.
The alliteration with all the "s" words works well.
Breaking up is one of the traumas all hope to avoid.
Well done for just six words.
Best wishes in the contest.
Robert

The alliteration of (s's) is obviously poignant in this searing statement of bounce and sudden fall that it is truly a disappointing turn of events. Well done on this 6 Word Poetry contest. Buona Fortuna. giovanni
