This 5-7-5, May Bells, has the right set up and shows these flowers off as proof that the seasons will change soon, for the better.

A lovely offering in 5-7-5 form for the contest. This was my vote and I came back to review. These were in my wedding bouquet.
Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the contest,
Sally Law :))

It is easy to see how the lily of the valley's dainty, downward facing, and pleasantly fragrant white blossoms are associated with humility, purity, and sweetness, plus rebirth because they bloom in May, which is in Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. Perhaps the connection with chastity comes from the irony that every part of this lovely plant is poisonous. Anyway, I like the matching meter and end-rhyme of the first and last lines, while the second line does have a delicate "feel" to it. Superb, aptly illustrated, and well presented on green background with white, italic text.

This is a really nice poem and a good entry in the flower haiku contest. The picture is really beautiful and adds a lot.
Rebirth on display is an especially nice line. Spring is, after all, about birth.
Nice job and good luck in the contest.

Adorable. Yes, lily-of-the-valley has this spiritual quality. I once penned a poem about them myself. I wish I had a six for this, alas, my larder is empty. I loved your satori in the last line - lilies as a symbol of rebirth.
Good luck in the contest - it may be the winner.
