Blue (in all its shades) is my favourite colour, so I was bound to be drawn to this one. Indeed, I find it:
deep like the water
austere like the mountains
protected by the sky

This is a great follow up - the blue tones do make my nose cold and my toes shiver - icy cold water. Time for some hot chocolate...maybe that will be my follow up!

This definitely sends a shiver down a person's spine. Ice cold blue water, such atmosphere, and clarity.

I am pleasantly chilled by your icy blue image for your Renga addition. Your selected artwork nicely complements your few words in your Haiku. With limited filters, I was never able to recreate that image when I previously used an SLR camera - it is a fascinating image you share with us.

Such beautiful imagery! With your second line of "basin wreathed by blue mountains," makes me think of the moon looking into wash her face in the "icy cold water." Lovely!
