I'm thankful only God sees what is ahead. I wouldn't want to know by I want to be able to trust his eyes and to prevent me becoming involved in something I shouldn't and give me the right attitude about things I dont' understand.

Loved this! Absolutely true that we can't see real dangers physical or spiritual. In Heaven, we'll learn about all the dangers that the Lord has saved us from. Let's keep praying and seeing with faith!

Congratulations on your work being recognized. This is another all too true poem. You certainly do know how to tell it like it is in a beautiful format.

So true. Always got to pray before you leave the driveway. Thank God you weren't hurt. I rolled a Toyota Forerunner on black ice once and it went 99 feet down the highway upside down and then rolled right side up and landed on the side of the road on a hill facing the highway. Between two gullies full of trees. I walked right out and hitch a ride back to town. I was 7 months pregnant. Not a scratch. Never been hurt bad in my life. So very thankful! Angels are a wonderful thing. I always tell God how thankful I am for them and what they do for me and if there are any extra hanging around that no one else wants, I'll take them too. On my "team." :)
Good one!

The reason the world is in the state it's in is due to man relying upon himself. His heart is treacherous and his eyes, myopic. The only One we can trust is the One who created us. But that takes humility.

God will take care of His faithful and I am sure He has an angel watching you. I enjoyed, once again reading your poem. You always keep me in line. Thank you for that.

It's a most comforting thought contained in the couplet 'faith indeed has eyes '- in an era of 'fake news' we need to have a guiding star to enable us to see better

It is so true, that eyes can always see what's important. Especcially those that belong to people who lack perfect eyesight. Faith lets us see past all the darkness and doubt.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

Roy, I love this poem you have penned. I can so relate to not being able to see, but know that the Holy Spirit and God's angels are protecting me as I walk along each step. Lovely words and imagery. Thanks for sharing. May God bless you and Elaine! Teri

God gives us happenings for a reason and even though we may not know why, others get the benifit. This one is full of messages and from your heart!!!!!!!!
