This poem flows so smoothly it is easy for (at least this) reader to neglect the deeper notes. I read it through twice, and I'm not sure I reached far enough into the tale yet - but don't worry, I will continue studying it.

I try to teach my first graders that telling the truth is extremely important because if you lose a person's trust you will probably never gain it back. They struggle with that concept, as some adults to. Thank you for sharing.

Wish I had a six for this, Roy. I really enjoyed reading it. Currently, I am reading an APOLOGETICS Bible and gaining a new exposure to meanings of many Scriptures. It always amazes me that no matter how many times we have read the Blessed Book, something new is always revealed and appreciated. Smiles and blessings, Janet

Very good poem you have penned Roy. Very good descriptive words and very interesting imagery from the art work you chose.
Please check this out:
who've sold you souls to evil's kin.
did you mean (your) souls to evil's kin
Thank you for sharing. Great job. Blessings, Teri

This is beautifully worded. It's great that you express you admiration for those who wrote of God's truth. God seeks out those who have wit and worth and will tell the truth. Excellent thoughts about how important honesty is. In second stanza, I think you mean your souls. judi

I see you're telling message here of our in times, Tara royal. Many have left what is truth and written down clearly in the word. This is saddening to me that many have departed from the truth, but the Bible does say in the end times this will be the case. I have better hope for those who work closely with the Lord. Jesus said, take care of that you are not deceived. He would not have said that if we weren't easily deceived. As sheep we must follow Him closely and attend His word.
Sending you my best today as always,

A very well-written poem about our ambitions and mottos are important to be in lined with what Jesus described himself as the way, the truth, and the life and we can follow in His example.

Truth is personification of Christ. He shared the way of salvation with men of old who wrote at God inspired them. He looks for those today to write words of inspiration.

This has a slightly different tone from your other poems. The use of the word 'avast' had me thinking of pirates, or something from the 18th or early 19th centuries. Favorite lines:
The eyes of God roam round the world,
to find some men of wit and worth.
Who love the truth and long to print,
the wisdom found dipped in faith's ink.
Nice alliteration with 'wit' and 'worth' and suggested metaphor of faith being like ink and wisdom like a pen.
Only suggestion: change you souls to evil's kin
to
your souls to evil's kin
