He sure does. God is always there for us. He does not lie. He does not hold grudge. He loves us unconditional. He first loved us. How much better can it get. It can't.

Doubt can really do a number on the
Christian who is keenly conscience of the righteousness of Christ and his/her own failure in total obedience to His Word. Then that evil one sneaks his suggestions into our mind of 'what ifs'
this and that, ruffling our emotions and feelings.
The answer to this delimba is the Word of God.
I'm not sure if I was on the same page with you by my comments, but this is what came to mind.

Faith is not based upon what we see, but on what we perceive in our hearts. We know God will never abandon us, despite the stressful conditions surrounding us.

There is always so much heartfelt love and devotion that you place into your work. You found a beautiful way to discuss the doubts that man faces day to day and to explain where we should look to alleviate those doubts.

Your confirmation of faith reaches out to the reader constantly with your
preferred use of words. They are powerfully potent when they relate to doubting Thomases.

"Just how can we trust these chaotic hearts
delinquent in nature, rebels in part?
Can I trust feelings; these wise thoughts collect,
what's this within me...God's wisdom select?"

Always a pleasure to read.

I sure doubt enters everyone hearts at times mostly because we don't consider ourselves worthy of someone giving the life up for our salvation. Trusting as a child would without trying to reason out the answer seems to work.

When a person exercises the measure of faith given to all, then we will hear from Heaven for without faith it impossible to please the one who created you.
Well done Bro. Just a muster grain seed will do.

A very well-written poem about knowing that we are free when the law of God doesn't keep us back from serving Him in a way that pleases Him by spreading His Word far and wide and bearing His fruit.

Love that verse from Habakkuk - and your poem well exhorts us to give up on doubts and misleading emotions, and our fallen egos, but to put our trust in the Lord!

Some superb use of metaphor in this fine verse, Roy. A sandstorm can quickly turn into a maelstrom of confusion making anything impossible to see.

I'm not sure what metre you have used, but I like it. :)

Great job with this a a happy day to you my friend.
