This is an interesting poem. I read it three times. The last two lines - not sure if that's true. But that aside, I thought your poem was wonderfully crafted. The rhyme is natural and the poem flows so well. And, most of all, your poem made me think. Great job.

An effective short poem that points to the old argument that surfaced with Darwin in the nineteenth century. Is man an ape or an angel? Which is right Science or religion. My own belief is that religion takes over wherever science pauses. As far as I Know Darwinian theory has never been scientifically proven. It therefore remains a theory.

Thank you for reading and so thoughtfully reading my take on creation. Charles Darwin?s theory is certainly challenging.
