Well, Zee, in that case I urge you to be bored a bit more. I absolutely adored this story which made me laugh out loud. Great interaction, but especially the inner dialogue. Loved the one about the eight club. I could relate.( I used to play golf; In fact, I used to do a lot of things.)
I always enjoy your writing as you will know by now. Ulla:)))

Hi Ulla. I used to play golf. I sucked at it but I like riding in the cart. Glad you liked my little slice of life. I used to think my stories had to tell a grand tale. And, then I realized that our lives are lived out in unremarkable slices. Put them all together...you got a big pie. I try to turn the unremarkable into a delicious slice. Kiss kiss.

Very true. I've learned that as well. You manage to do it remarkable well. xx

What fun!! Obviously I need to be spending more time in your portfolio-- if this is the kind of stuff you're generally pouring out, I want to jump in with both feet!
Haha
There was a lot to like here, but it was mainly that dry humor that hooked me-- oh. And the eight-iron.
One intsy note:
--> but I thought I saw something crawl out [of] it and land on my white couch.
Thank you!

Hey, thanks for catching the booboo. Glad you enjoyed it. I write my character, Zee Zee a lot. Well, since 2007. She and I are well acquainted by now. Thanks again for reading and leaving a review.
