Thank you for sharing a recent poem with us. I enjoyed the romantic artwork and colorful presentation. Your "silent instrument" metaphore is very effective. Well done- Joan

Hello Dallas!
Emotive and heartfelt.
Deep sense of sadness and longing.
I love the metaphorical reference of love being the song of life.
One note, if I may:
into the morrows (meaning tomorrow = morrows')
sea of loneliness = beautiful imagery

Thank you for sharing!

A very interesting and somber tone you set up here. You did well in conveying a sense of loneliness.

notes:

{wondering}
through empty lyrics-
without a melody.

- do mean wondering as in thinking or wandering as walking aimlessly through?

This poem, My Musician, creates an allegorical search for a musician to play the lonely and noiseless instrument. Her being made musical by the one who knows her well. Nice.
