What a lovely poem Tony, you've done a marvellous job on this the rhyming a stilted meter make it flow unevenly but still makes "sound" sense to the ear. And theme, with eternal and Dawn's gates. Well done my friend, blessings Roy

"The Gates of Dawn" is a beautiful reverie Tony. Each new morning gives us a new chance. A wonderful message in this lovely poem. Excellent rhyme and alliteration. I tried to find a particular line that I liked best but alas, I loved them all. Thankfully, I have a six star left.
Amazing picture to compliment your work.
Well done.
Blessings

Great to see you back again.
Your poem has a wonderful soothing effect as one reads and the accompanying photo sets it all off perfectly.
A fine contender for the rhyming poem contest.
Good luck!

Do the gates of dawn open every morning? Are you reborn each day? I read this as 'today is the first day of the rest of your life'. Thus wasted time does't persist. Every day you have a chance to redeem your mistakes.
