his sedoka, The New day, has the proper formatting and sees that the nation is at a crossroads where what will come next has appeared on the horizon.

I hope your poem is going to come true. We are all grieving for many reasons. Some for the unleashed Covid and the unleashed who should have leashed it. But who will leash the unleashed who will never be leashed or leash.

Hello, anonymous,

Beautiful entry for the
Sedoka Poem writing prompt contest. Good syllable count and connection between lines. It flows nicely.

Your timely topic is shared by many americans on both sides. I'm heartbroken and stressed...I just want to get back to normal. Personally, I'm sick and tired of Trump...every day is a scandal, outrages lies, etc.. enough already.

Good luck in the contest, yours gets my vote.

I pray for America too. Freedom is earned by people respecting one another's rights. America has forgotten to do that. One of the reasons is the president only respects his kind and the rest of us are all collateral damage.

Thanks for the insightful review jaded. I believe this is a catalyst for a stronger, just and compassionate America.
I like to think of it as the Japanese art of fixing pottery cracks with gold.
    Everything will be okay.
    Cheers, j

As America awaits the outcome of the election and felt your anxious anticipation here and I expect the whole nation feels the same way, I certainly hope the future is bright, a poignant poem, love Dolly x

I like your poem very much - it's topical and covers the range of emotion where we have become numb with disbelief at events, then the last section comes to life at the prospect of a new day bringing freedom.
Good action words, from reeling to smoulder to ignite.

This is a good entry in the Sedoka category.
The rules are fulfilled.
The artwork is very nice with the theme.
I can almost hear the drumbeat.

Hello Mystery Writer,
What I so appreciate about your well-crafted Sedoka poem, is that it is open for interpretation by the reader - which is clever and imperative.
I applaud your message and gift used to express.

Thank you!
Best Wishes!
