Dang-git! You are just as good as I remember when I left FS a couple of years ago. Your wit sparkles in even the spaces between your words--yes, even through your freaking toes, Bill! Keep your genius coming. I'll be watching for more of your stuff this year.

Paraphrase: It is fitting to celebrate and be glad, for our brother Jay was gone, and is returned; he was lost, and now is found.

Oh, dear, does that mean you've stepped in it yet again, Sir Bill... ;) :) wink, wink. And what a wonderful message that even when we step on the thorns, there's also the petals to peek through!! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

What a beautiful picture. I bet it smells as lovely as it looks. You're right, life is like that delicate flower and should never be taken for granted. Nicely said.

This is a very thought-provoking poem. It made me think of Covid-19 being defeated, and soundly so, by the power of positive thinking alone. Thank you for sharing.

I so agree with your words here Bill, we either look and see the good, the beautiful and the hope in life, or we see the misery and disappointment, it is up to us to enjoy and gather the good, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This is a nice thought to start the day Bill.
Good advice to follow particularly during these times to get along.
Well written and peaceful thoughts.

Best regards and stay well.
Mary

What? Bill, have you gone suddenly soft in your old age? I cannot believe that you wrote something as soft and sensitive as this. Not old blood and guts, thoroughly and perpetually confused Ned, or any of the other odd persons who populate your missives, could have written something this soft and nice. I am befuddled and bewildered.
