Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

I thought I understood the poem, when I was reading it for the first time. Then I continued reading, I saw the author's note. I became hesitated, and I am not sure I understand it. I may not have grasped what the author would like to express in this poem. What I have seen might be the ripples or the surface, not the current in depth, but I can feel passion, love, poignancy ... entangled sophisticated feelings.

Thanks for the review yes this is based on a 20-year almost marriage with a woman who was mentally ill gambling away my assets leaving you children behind at night when I ran the night crew on Long Beach island and New Jersey.
8 months after the loss of her 18-year-old son Jason in a car accident she stopped her medications in 3 months later on November 23rd passed away from a DVT from the result of a second heart attack which is a blood clot from the leg to the heart she left me a trail of rose petals right to her dresser with 10 years of bills never paid turned upside down it was a nightmare and it took a little bit to take care of it but I got through that.
    Thanks wishawave,

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

We humans have the ability to perceive when something is written with hand and heart... And this poem is one of them! By reading the middle of your writing I perceived like it was a story in between fiction and non-fiction. I read your comments below your work and that confirmed my perception. Good writing and good internal expressions.

This is based on a 20-year almost marriage of my wife Carol who gave up on the family after loss of her son and eight months later stopped her medications and then on November 3rd passed peacefully away from a result of the second heart attack in a blood clot from the leg to her heart it happened at the hospital it was bad enough I had to watch the first episode which is a nightmare and then the follow the trail of rose petals right to her dresser with 10 years worth of bills turned upside down never paid that would be followed with nasty collection agencies major companies like Citibank who I had sent out her death certificate insisted that I paid $10,000 credit card back bill in her name only when I got finished with that guy on the phone he did not like my let's say review on his comment that she's still your wife the problem with the world is there's too many of these citibanks and too many heartless human beings walking this planet right now the best of the best are right here in poetry Dr Ricky 1024

Hello Ricky 1024: Thank you very much for your sincere words and transparent comment!! There are situations like the ones you commented and one fills like an ant in front of a Skyscrapper! In those cases, I return to my internal dialogue and trust in that nothing, nothing, nothing is invisible from the top!!

    Have a great weekend!
