Ciao Sugarray!

I love the pic but moreover I love the strong message you voice.

So many wars are fuelled by fear especially when we don't know those who are different from us ..

different should not be synonymous of bad , dangerous, something to squash , eliminate

Children are less fearful of the different

A bit like Scout in the Mockingbird..

the folks in town fear Boo Radley hence they think he's bad , dangerous

Scout instead initial fears him but when she starts to know him she realised he is harmless.

I read below that this format is called brevette

Just a curiosity in Italian breve mean short lived ..or simply short like in short week

Hello Franca. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yes, this form is called Brevette because it is sho short... three words. It is a new form for me, and I thought it would be fun to try. So appreciate you!

A very profound thought given a strong view, tossing its realities made my head spin, concluding the probabilities of a yes. Thanking you for your given challenge, all stated in my opinion.

Hi Melissa,
Very nice! That's an Arctic Fox, isn't it?
The Arctic fox, also known as the white fox, polar fox, or snow fox, is native to the Arctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere and quite common throughout the Arctic tundra. It is well-adapted to living in cold environments, and best known for its thick, warm fur that is also used as camouflage. In the wild, most do not live past their first year, but a few exceptional ones survive up to 11 years.
Here you have a little girl making friends with a youngster. I don't think it's wise for a child to be so close to a wild animal like this, so I wonder where the parents are. This particular fox must be young, and if so, where is his mother? But the picture illustrates your poem well, that "love overcomes fear", terrific brevette. I might try this myself.
Thanks for sharing!
Hugs,
Kimbob

Thank you KB! I am so glad you liked this and noticed the fox. It makes for a sweet verse with those two in the photo. I do to know a thing about the species. It might just be a stuffed animal!!! LOL.

I have never heard of a Brevette. With my love of short poems, what a delightful format for me to try.
I love your photo and the words you chose to depict it. You don't need more than three words to capture the emotions in the artwork.
Well done.

Short, sweet and to the point. Love throws fear aside - and the artwork perfectly reflected these sentiments. The innocence of a child with an animal highlights the beauty of love based on natural instincts rather than circumstances. I like the brevette format.

I am so pleased you tried the Brevette form and added a very sympathetic picture. I always love it when a dog cocks his head, showing that he is completely focused on you. Big cheers- Joan

This form is new to me. I like this way of expressing a thought or stating a belief. It seems meant for philosophical/spiritual musings.

What you have written is truth, dear Melissa. An underlying principle of our existence. The picture is delightful.

Thanks for sharing.

Stay safe and blessed

Julia

Hello Julia. So glad you noticed the principle of truth that we have from the Lord and His Word... He does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind... we are so blessed! Thank you.

What a beautiful thought expressed in three words. "Brevette" is a great name for this form. Your nouns present a contrast. Lovely artwork, and it captures such a great expression on the dog. He looks all attention. Excellent statement is just a few words. judi

Haven't come across this interesting brief format of the Brevette before but it certainly works its own magic in this little moment of 'sharing' here - lovely pic
