Sounds like the writer knows what the DMC is all about. My experience in Europe during the Russia invasion in Hungary places a star next to this read. A white star, not a red.

Too funny. Of course there is no such thing as not having to work, well except for perhaps those born into wealth ... names unmentioned.
The New World Order talk I believe was started by a Republican decades ago, but it does have a rather ominous ring to it, yes? I suspect it was the invention of some creative speech writer, after the Berlin Wall came down.
Just a couple of typos:

I sstopped (stopped) and dropped my disguise.

It is a crazy scenario. Unfortunately, it can be true. The times are changing. Your words are so true. Many take this form of government for granted and if we don't do our civic duty on Nov 3, the future will be today. GOOD LUCK IN THE CONTEST.

I like how you used Kim Jong Un to personify socialism, and the world of North Korea that contrasts so sharply with the world we have in the US. I found it odd that the Pope described capitalism as a 'failed' system. Talk to anyone from Eastern Europe and they will tell you that the real failure is socialism. estory

The contest announcement says a character has to be "in a disguise," which would mean wearing a disguise. I may have missed that in this story, but I sure didn't see it. I wanted to give you this heads-up.

I agree with your premise. This could well be our future in disguise. My only thoughts, maybe too heavy. I like to refer to George Orwell, he showed us a Far Left government so subtly-yet so scary, that between his lines was a nightmare. He was a master. I'm not saying, go that veiled, but maybe tone down, (stupid)=dimwitted, thick, blinded, etc. Don't let overkill, lose your reader, the message is to reveal the disguise. Just my thoughts. Good luck.
