You have the picture of my top 10 favorite movie of all time and a very good poem to all as well. It's so visual and your right, a war isn't a wholesome story no matter what side and so hell of a job with it.

The author's words are interesting, strong, clear and creative. After reading this poem, I mostly liked the end especially the last line.
The poem flows and connect well. The artwork is perfect and compliments

This is a good piece. I understand the language warning, but I think you are doing yourself a disservice with the violence warning. I don't think your discriptions or suggestions of what's happening are brutal enough to warrant that. It would just unfairly turn away potential readers. Otherwise, well done.

Yes, you may be right, but on this site, with our demographics, sometimes you are damned if you and damned if you don't. Better to keep the squeamish away.

Your rhyming fable sure is a violent, gritty tale - it had to be to get its message across, which I feel it did very successfully. The God of War has an unquenchable blood lust in which all suffer.

Dear Author, in the clear and bold words you have told the truth about war.
There are no winners, even for those who sack a city; "war is not a wholesome story. It contains neither hope or glory." and as you said, the only mercy is being deceased.
Any one who can tell the truth so well, deserves six stars.
