Very nice poem.
You do a good job of distinguishing the different kind of love or older age from the younger versions. It is different but necessarily worse.
As an old bat, I particularly loved the last line
When you are young, you have no idea that a peaceful night can be a wondrous gift.
Very sweet and strong contest entry.

haha. I like this. I like how you don't view the holding hands stage of your relationship as something bad. I thought this was creative but also a wise and enjoyable poem. Great job.

This tells a cute and sweet story of the progression of love.
