Bob,you are so wrong for that friend. I laughed so hard when that ending came. I was hoping it was not a predictable one and boy was I glad that it wasn't. Love it. He probably was going to share that sandwich. Would recommend. Good luck. Queenise

Great economy of words and the set up to this flash fiction allows for such a plethora of musings on what happens afterwards... a perfect use of words to set a tense situtation, introduce the character, the action, and the climax with the possibility of a greater climax to come. Bravo!

Oh, this was good. You are extremely talented to be able to write only fifty words and make sense out of something. I am truly impressed. Good luck with the contest.

Mastery... The Voracious One is Excellent.
Sounds like a part in a scary movie reaching into his glove - box pulling a pocket knife perhaps...way to go.

Ha! Ha! He must have had a very low sugar count.
Excellent description.
I really liked the scene, and the words meshed together very nicely.
Thanks for posting, and good luck in the contest.
