Very imaginative and delightful spin on Shakespeare's classic sonnet expressed in this skillfully crafted Senryu. The picture you selected ties in with your poem and makes this entire literary work a truly enjoyable experience for the reader! Well written!

I thought that was a great senryu entry. I like the picture choice.
Ice cream castles chill, What kids don't dream of ice cream:)

Oh, what a charming poem! Who doesn't like ice cream? Who doesn't want to dream of ice cream in all its delicious flavors? (And who doesn't enjoy William Shakepeare's plays and poetry?) LOL. Great play on words, and such a suitable way to use the form! Best of Luck in the prompt. :)

Adorable artwork for this. Children can sleep in peace if their ice cream dreams are satisfied. Ice cream isn't just for kids, either, as your poem says. It can thrill old souls, too. We have a Ritter's near us, and I love their hot fudge sundaes on a hot summer day. It's the perfect midsummer night's dream. Well done with syllable count and conveying that human desire to scream for ice cream. judi

A lovely Children's poetry in senyru form. I too dream of ice cream all year round.
Lovely "c" and "t" alliteration. Sweet artwork and presentation.
This Midsummer's Night Dream reference made me smile.

Who would find fault with a poem about dreaming about ice cream? (I think "Night's Dream"/ice cream reinforces a positive subliminal effect.) Good luck in the contest voting!

This senryu, Ice Cream Castles, touches on a thought that crosses generations--- ice cream. Kids love it because its sweet and cold. Adults like it for those reasons and the the connection it makes to those long-ago years when ice cream was a rare delight. Nice.
