A very well-written uplifting and encouraging poem about the storms of life that can sometimes get us discouraged and disappointed, but when we stand in the pouring rain, better days will come, we just need to keep our faith strong.

I love your poem: both the way it's written and the content.
It's true, we all have our storms and it's good to know the Lord will comfort us.
Thanks so much for sharing.

This work has reached the exceptional level

"So Let the Rains Come", is an exceptionally well-written and spiritually-uplifting piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. To me this is certainly a six. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Trust is everything in this life, and you described your ongoing leap of faith beautifully in this descriptive, heartfelt poem. Very nicely done, Tina.

In the third line, the one that begins "Though troubles come," should the word 'his' be capitalized?

Also -and forgive me if my being Jewish makes me not sure if this was intentional and symbolic of Jesus- did you mean to say "Sonshine" or is it a typo for sunshine? Like I said, I'm so sorry to appear dense!!

Thanks for your kind review! I meant Sonshine...play on words. I may change that to "Son-shine"...meaning Jesus. You aren't dense:) That's cool you are Jewish. Much respect to you on behalf of Jewish friends I had in high school. Sweetest people ever:)
I will check on his. Yes, should be capitalized. I need to not type on my phone...I make typos!
    Thanks for your input!

Beautiful message, Tina! I especially love that last stanza. The prior stanzas are great, too, as there is a strong message about trusting God through the storms of life but the last stanza goes beyond and sees the "golden thoughts" of "His wisdom" and the assurance of God's loving us as His own through the storm. That is truly beautiful!

Another beautiful offering, with an important message. I especially enjoyed the lines "God will speak in the storms if I just listen, I will hear thoughts higher than my own." So often we think we don't want to hear those thoughts, but the heart ache we'd be spared if we only paid attention. Nicely done!

This is a lovely poem of your faith, dear Tina. I see you fixed the little typo. A sweet poem of strong faith. I love how you spelled Sonshine. The light that never goes out.
All my best,

Oh such a beautiful song from the heart of a beautiful poet!! Don't ever lose your join, Beautiful Lady --- if you feel the sunshine waning, let me know and I'll send some your way!! :) Thank you for the rainy smile, Lady T, I certainly could use it today!! ;) ;) Yvette
Be sure to pop back in there and, in the chorus, fix this line: "So let theBridgMs pour!"

As I write this review, it is raining cats and dogs outside--the perfect ambiance. The illustration you have chosen is a perfect compliment to your poem, and the background and font colors are well-chosen as well. Your author's notes add to the readers' understanding. Thank you for sharing this poem.
