This is a very tasty poem that makes me want a pickled pepper or even just a pickle. I liked your rhymes and your description of the pepper sharpening my brain. The picture you put with it was perfect for the poem and only made me taste the pickled spiciness even more.

Thank you for the great review.

What a fun poem about pepper. I like it prickles sense, lights inner fire, sharpens brain and makes you wiser.
I love pickles, too and now I know why.
Well done.

Thank you so much for the great review. I had a lot of fun with it. I thought it would be an added humor to write a Peppered Pickle about a peppered pickle (lol). Glad you enjoyed it.

Well done on your first Peppered Pickle... I think the 2-syllable modification should be allowed. Your poem "prickled my senses" most deliciously. Now I need to go and eat some.

I have never heard of this form of poetry before. I might have to give it a try.
I love pickles and your descriptive words, along with your picture, are making my mouth water. Thanks for sharing this with us and please excuse me now.... my pickle jar is calling! ð???

Thank you for the great review. This form was created by Dollys Poems, and many poets have tried it. You should try - it's a fun form! Just beware of the internal rhyming. Glad you enjoyed it.
Comment from Raffaelina Lowcock
I did the same thing. This is a good little poem about the actual pickled pepper. I have had many and they are delicious. I wonder if Dolly has and that's her source of inspiration.

This is a great short piece about pickled peppers. Let me be the 100th person to ask you if Peter Piper picked these pickled peppers himself? :P
All kidding aside, great work here, thanks for sharing. Later daze.

-Nice artwork and
presentation, Muse.
-You did a good job
with the form, and I
like your idea of
writing about a pickle pepper!
-Good imagery and rhyme,
like "spices mind."
-A good concluding couplet, too.

Thanks, Pam? What the reduced rating? What does this poem need for a 5 star rating? You didn't mentioned anything.
-
You are welcome, and I am so sorry about the rating. Every once in a while, a four shows up, and it wasn't supposed to be. I just changed it for you.

Thanks for sharing your fun with Dolly's Peppered Pickle form. I enjoyed your rhymes and rhythm and reinforcing picture. Perhaps, I should consider eating more of this vegetable combination! Smiles- Joan

Thank you, Joan. Oh, I had a lot of fun with this Peppered Pickle. As an added humor I had to make it about a peppered pickle (smile). Glad you enjoyed it. Have you tried the form?

Not yet--I'm dealing with some health issues and taking one step at a time- Joan

According to this little poem I should be the wisest person on the planet, because I love pickles: "The added pepper sharpens brain,
and wiser person you remain." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Peter Piper never-picked a perfect pickle.
Though pecks of pickles Peter Piper picked.
And while you're in a pickle re your pickles
And one less syllable would have the problem licked,
I'm plenty partial to your pickle poetry.
For your first try, I find it prettY slick.
Fun poem. Thanks for sharing.
