Very nice way of taking your mind off, of what is going on in the world. As we cannot see the virus but know it there. Look on our ability to change focus and see something good in our world, like wild life.

Lovely thoughts. I think we all need a vision of where we would like to be to get through this pandemic that is keeping us all at home.

I just saw an amusing post on Facebook which claims that manatees manage their buoyancy by an endless cycle of farting!
Yes, there is much to learn and enjoy from these gentle creatures. New Zealand doesn't have manatees, but we do have various species of dolphins and many stories of how they have interacted with humans - you might like to google Opo and Pelorus Jack - two of our most celebrated dolphins.

This is truly a statement of desire to be somewhere else as compared to being kept in one place and from traveling, and so the comfort here is the traveling of the mind where these creatures appear in warmth and gaiety, uplifting the mood and lightening the burden until the eventual cure is found for this one invisible enemy. giovanni

Best read I have encountered all day. The serene imagery through your word choice was on-point and engaging. I love the correlation between the creatures of the ocean and reader's emotions. I, too, have been longing for a happier time during the course of this pandemic. Very well thought out piece. Loved it!

That's sweet. It's hard to stay home and watch things on the internet or on TV. Hopefully soon we'll be able to go out and do things again. I can only watch so many cat videos.

Cat videos are great but we can overload on them. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Elaine

I love this. I like that you talk about things you long for while waiting for this to all be over. It is simple and straightforward but poetic nonetheless. Just one tiny, tiny, tiny--almost invisible--point. This enemy (covid) technically is not invisible; it's microscopic (something like 120 nanometers in diameter). Thanks for sharing.

This is a good free verse poem about a wonderful way to imagine time spent away from people during this pandemic. Swimming with the dolphins is one thing I have always wanted to do.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

I like this good analogy of covid and what it has done to the world at large. It would be nice to return to some normalcy. I like your conclusion that says I patiently wait for a world free from an invisible enemy as I watch my sea friends play in a happier time.
