That you are in love with your cat Fluffy is obvious from the lines of the nicely written Acrostic poem. It is simple and smooth flowing. Fluffy being so lovable, you could have chosen some other innocent-looking picture. The one given here looks a bit intimidating or am I having Ailurophobia (fear of cats).

Oh my seven cats and I don't even own one. Your Fluffy really looks so cute, no wonder you wrote a poem for your cat. The acrostic is an excellent description of Fluffy and we get a better view of how your cat really is. Thanks for sharing.

Teri,
This is a nicely done acrostic poem about your cat Fluffy. Wow, seven cats, that's a lot to care for. We only have one cat now. Her name is Mogu and I've also written a couple of poems about her.
Best wishes in the acrostic contest.
Blessings,
Anabella

What a lovely acrostic poem, Teri. Fluffy sounds devoted to you, unusual for a cat, so I can see why she's special.

Seven sounds like a lot of cats, but they take care of themselves. I used to have cats, but I married a man with an allergy, so now we have three small dogs. THey're a lot more trouble than cats, but I don't have a choice. They do like to sit on my lap, but they don't purr. I miss that. :)

Hello Teri :)

Your cat Fluffy is so adorable. Not the one on the picture, I know that is not her. My daughters have cats and I babysit them a lot. One has three, really cute with funny characters; the other has one, she is cute too. My doctor keeps saying I should get a cat and I am tempted but I am not a pet person. I hate the smell and having to clean their litter box. But they are fun when I see them for a few days :)

Good job with the acrostic poem, you did well. I wish you good luck in the contest, I think you have a winner.
Gypsy

Pets, whether a dog, cat, or even a rabbit will bring joy to anyone. If you love them they'll return that love. Fluffy is a great name for a cat. I had a calico for 21 years. Unfortunately, no one can live forever. Wonderfully written. Les

That is so true my friend. All my cats are getting older and it saddens me. Fluffy is so loving towards me. She is my little girl. Thanks for the great review. Hugs, Teri

interesting poem...Fliffy is clearly well loved and a special part of the family. she is also the title and subject of this acrostic poem. the rhyme is sometime a little contrived but in all still a very good effort. I wich you well in the competition.

I am pleased that you are so happy and content with your cat, but why, in a free verse poem, did you choose to insert that tired old rhyme combination life/strife. You might as well have added love/dove and heaven above to really make me gag.

Think about removing it. Such action will be a welcome improvement.

An neat little flow and rhyme and encouragement to have a cat. My granddaughter loves kittens and was smitten by them as a little girl she loves their swirl around her angles as a token of affection and claim. I thought you done well with your tribute to your cat.
