This is really sweet, Barbara, although I must say, I found Paige's reaction just a bit over-the-top (but then, she is who she is I guess *grin*).
As always, it is wonderfully written and flawless.

Cash is quite the Southern gentleman. The night didn't go well for Paige but it seems he's done a good job of making up. I like the picture you chose. It works well.

Barbara,
The chapter is exciting and engaging, especially when Cash finally returns to the room. Paige's imagination has been working overtime, even after his return. I like the way you portray Cash. He is a man who believes in old-fashioned traditions. It's too bad those traditions are lost in our society today. I enjoyed the read...especially Cash's explanation.

I enjoyed the conflict..one soul worrying while the other fails to see the angst and consternation his actions generated. The dialogue between characters was realistic and to the point.
Take care,
Ray
PS: Out of six stars until Sunday.

This a Very interesting chapter, very tender ending, well written, gives the reader a clear picture of the scene, I could feel her love for him in the dialogue. Thank you for sharing.

Ah, barbara. Cash is such a sweetheart--a perfect southern gentleman. I already liked him. How could Paige not love him even more.
The dialogue is fantastic. Her anger and suspicions pop off the page.
I need a six for you and promise to make up for not having one today. This is one of your best chapters. :)

It seems as if we are getting closer to where these colorful characters of yours will be finding some of the answers they have needed help with. These characters have become like friends.

Dear Barbra,
This had a nice bit of conflict which ended up in a tender scene between Cash and Page. I could hear the individual voices of both characters here. Great job--Ted

The guy has principles and he didn't betray them. I like that.
Usually a list is preceded by a colon.
Or he might have an addiction; (:)gambling, drugs, alcohol, maybe even sex. He spent

Cash is being difficult throughout this scene without any reason I can discern. Why not just tell Paige right off where he spent the night. Had he phrased it right, she couldn't help but be flattered. An interesting relationship, Barbara. Still trying to figure this guy out. :) Nancy
