Ah I love this. Now that's the way I want to go. Oh wait could I even be a priest? I'm back just woke from a nanowrimo enduced sleep. Catching up here. LOL You know I think that is how we go, really I do. Another super write with great detail so one really gets the sense of how real it is. Why I love to read what you write. A wonderful sweet story. Lots of love, Vicki :)

I think this is how we go to. I am thrilled you enjoyed this and am delighted to have you back. I am also pleased to hear you finally got some rest after last month's wild and exhausting journey.

Is there ever a time you write with freedom and don't agonize over every word? You know just spill it out all over the page. HEHE I've done that it's not pretty the next morning. Just tell me it gets easier. LOL

Absolutely. The post "The Box" was written on impulse and in less than twenty minutes. This doesn't happen often, but once in a while it is as though a light goes off and my muse wakes up and takes over. Also, stories that hold deep personal emotion for me practically write them selves. When you get a chance take a look at "May God Bless and Protect You". I wrote that in about an hour and cried the whole time I was writing.

I will for sure, okay that sounds like hope to me. XOXOX

Wow, I didn't know where this was going but I like where it went. A very interesting story and different from others I have read. Different in a good way. I think it will do well in the contest.

That's exactly how I believe it happens. Those who care about you come to escort you to the next stage of existance, with love and caring. Great job.

I very much enjoyed reading this lovely little story, with its clever surprise-ending. The imagery and character depictions and interactions were all well done. My thanks to the author for a very touching read.

Ahhh...what an ending dear Sascha! Such a nostalgic piece about how the very special pastor who provided so much to so many finally gets his dues in the end and looks back from heaven with a smile on his face. Creative approach having him share it with so many who had experienced his generosity throughout the years. Best of luck in the contest. Sue

Hi Smurphy
What a beautiful charming story.
You have described the Father and his church so well they seemed quite real.
I have a nasty habit of killing my characters off at the end of my stories - but Father MacDougal's demise brought a happy smile to my face - as I'm sure it will to all your readers.
Good luck in the contest.

I don't usually kill mine off, but they usually live horrible lives. Glad you enjoyed this one.

Hi, Sasha, what an extraordinary yet interesting story. You've led me thinking that this is his last Mass, while actually he is already lying inside the coffin. Very clever of you to create a different story for this contest.

Nope dialogue isn't needed in this story. You have written a wonderful heartwarming story that didn't need dialogue. I have read a few short stories for this contest. Yours is very good.

Sasha, again you are bringing us the magic touch of your beautiful hart and feelings.
A sweet Christmas story that show us that at the end of our life, the only thing we will carry with us is the love of all the people we have loved.
Have a Feliz Navidad from your fan and friend Abio.

What a wonderful story.
Sorry, that I am out of sixes.
Love the simplicity of this one.
I do hope that when I pass I am escorted by the same sort of congregation.
Such a lovely Christmas write, good luck in the contest.
