This is truly a poem to savor, Mrs. KT. It is in fine tetractys form and spirit, and is power packed. I cannot think of a thing that would make it one bit better. This is surely an excellent contender the contest. Mary

Beautifully done. My imagination is going. Colourful, and use of words good. The theme is woven in a way that makes you think, search it out, experience.

Superb--and short enough to stick in my memory for a long time! Love the artwork accompaniment, and have had the feeling of the truth your poem represents without the words to express it. So fine that in spite of the finality of death, there is much beyond its power. No suggestions or corrections. Kudos! later and God bless, shy

Simple - and magical. The flow is so pleasing, including the natural stop at the end of the third line. Your poem is just filled with warmth and assurance. Love it. Regards. Sally

This
I have
Come to know:
Even death's claim
Holds no power over memory's touch
I read this well crafted Tetractys poem with amazement. Great choice of words, perfect presentation. Wish you the best of luck in the contest. (tati, Nov. 06, 2009)

There is a succinct wisdom as well as expertise in this lovely poem. I like the subtle contrast implied in "death's hold" and "memory's touch," and that here the touch is more powerful than the hold. A striking love poem. Best regards, Jeanie Mercer

Oh, it's so good to read something from your pen! How are you?? This is a lovely short piece for this contest. I flipped "touch" and "hold" just to try it out, and I liked the feelings that evoked to, a little less final on death's part. Just a thought
