I wish I had a six to award this wonderful poem. My wife and I have been married for 46 years, soon to be 47. Sadly the love making you described lives only in our sometimes fading memories. LOL. They were great times worthy of celebrating and remembering. You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear loved one. I do not know what I will do if my wife precedes me in death. I pray that she does not.

This is a good mixture of love, lust and memory. It sounds like it can be used in an Anniversary card.

I think that you made a great and beautifully poem. It is a wonderful poem that paints a perfect picture of how an anniversary should go. I love the line "I love you now and forever. Happy Anniversary Dear" Amazing poem and I'm sorry for your loss.

This is a beautiful poem and tribute to your dear wife of 65 years. I bet she loved it when she read it all those years ago! It is sweetly written, not sickening as some love poems can be, and should do very well in the contest. Good luck xoxxo

I love this! It's simple, unpretentious, and fun! In my humble opinion, we need more poems like this one. It's romantic but clean and I don't have to use my dictionary to look up any fancy words, :-)

same problem with fancy words. I have to skip over poems I can't understand. If I don't understand it, I can't review it. Thanks much for the stars.

I was very blessed when I met her and for all the wonderful years she gave me. The best part of me has been missing since 4/20/15 at 1:40 pm. Thank you for the great review and stars.

I hope your Wife and you are, on the same mental wave so she can remember how you both felt about passing over.
I think Adelaide Love said it best.
"If you should go before me, dear, walk slowly
Down the ways of death, well-worn and wide,
For I would want to overtake you quickly
And seek the journey's ending by your side.
I would be so forlorn not to descry you
Down some shining highroad when I came;
Walk slowly, dear, and often look behind you
And pause to hear if someone calls your name. "
