Cindy, thank you for the validation. I agree and I personally understand. I regret that my wife, like you, had occasions where men presented themselves as cuckolds with little regard for the sexual and professional boundaries.

You are so right in your observation. Women from my generation liked the man to take the initiative. Nowadays I don't know how any relationship gets off the ground. It seems to me that men don't know what to do.

Hi Marilyn, I regret from our politicians to star athletes to the boardroom I regret that some men,s actions have tipped the balance. I personally understand. I regret that my wife had occasions where men presented themselves as cuckolds with little regard for the sexual and professional boundaries.

I must admit I agree with the premise of men being men, and women being women, now it's men and women being men. We've lost our identity, and that's theft. Good poem - there were a few "near rhymes" I thought - I wonder if you could use "my thoughts did flower" which would rhyme better with hour. Also I wonder if you could use "I would wrap up our line" - but perhaps that doesn't fit the presentation. Just my opinions.
