A very well-written Tanka about the dancing ladybugs in the garden and a visiting butterfly to complete the fantasy picture. I hope the art connoisseur was content this time with your efforts.

I love this poem and the picture that goes along with it! I love happy garden for a child, and the idea of dancing ladybugs. I also love the little story you inserted after the poem. Very nice work!

It sounds like your little four year old friend could be a girl, asking for a flower, butterfly and ladybugs, so cute! I think a little boy might have thrown in a beetle, bee of worm, ha ha. Nice!

This tanka, Dancing Ladybugs, looks good and brings our notice to the many lives that gad about beneath and on the colorful and accommodating garden constituents.

Since you were working to clear instructions with the picture, I presume the same applies to the Tanka. Your four year old friend probably doesn't know the meaning of 'pivot' and certainly not 'satori'. So the less said about them the better. Lol.

Well, I'm happy to hear she's happy with this one. The ladybugs are lovely and cheerful. Very uplifting on a cold winter's day here in New England. Keep up the good work - we love your cheerful offerings!

-A nice painting and
how wonderful you did
this for this little girl.
-I imagine she would like this.
-I like your tanka with very
good, fanciful imagery, Pam.
-I like how they "hold each
other's hands and feet."
-It is a "happy garden."
-Thanks for sharing.

This is a precious story along with a lovely tanka offering, dear Pam. I am very childlike, so I can always appreciate the eye of a child. My grandchildren are especially talented, just like their mother. You were so sweet to please your little friend with this. :) Truly a happy garden.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xo

A nice tanka Pam, and even nicer painting for your precious four year old granddaughter, I always that a tanka was 20-25 syllables. Well done and welcome back dear girl, well done, blessings, Roy
