I do feel that the time to let others know we care is when we're/they're still alive. Still--it doesn't lessen the blow when they do leave, even when anticipated. A well written poem. Marilyn

I agree with you completely on this issue. I was fortunate that when my mother died, she had time to say "I love you". Not everyone gets that opportunity and remembering to say we love you is too often too late.
