Hi Pam,
Look at that sweet, little face! What a doll! This is a great poem and is perfectly complemented by Pepper's sweet, smiling portrait. It's fabulous that you painted her and wrote a poem about her. I'm sure your sister is honored, and Pepper is likely still smiling! Thanks or sharing. Jan

Comment from Gloria ....
You've captured the spicy characteristics of this cute little doggie, Pam. I think I might've seen him up here the other day, but that is likely just my imagination. Excellent painting and poem.
So good to see your very talented work.

Even in his last days, your sister's husband was thinking about her and how she would deal with his death. I think that he was a remarkable man to have that much foresight. Your picture is a very good likeness of a Yorkie. Best wishes.

Hi Victor. How are you? I am so glad her husband did that. Pepper gives her purpose and is a good companion. Thank you for your lovely review

You are most welcome, Pam. It was my pleasure.

This is a lovely combination of poem and painting, capturing the little yorkie's desire to please by posing for the camera. What an excellent idea of the husband's to introduce a companion into the family, knowing he was going to be leaving it.

I think Pepper is saying cheese to make him smile for the photo or is that just an English thing? He looks like a nice little Doggie. You have painted him well. Hope you are feeling better. Love. Jen. X

Hi Pam. Pepper is a cutie. I can see the Yorkie smile. I'm sorry to hear of your brother-in-law's passing, but his gift to your sister lives on. Very nice indeed. Marilyn

How adorable! I love this painting and your poem. It was thoughtful of her husband to get that pup for her. He wanted to give her comfort. Thanks for sharing.

Who could help but love a puffball like this? Yorkies are so smart and loving. Now your Sister has a companion to keep her company and someone to love. He won't replace the dear husband but will help.

What a great painting, Pamela! I like the fullness you give with so many brush strokes of different colors.
I am so glad that your sister has this dog. How wise it was of her husband to know she needed someone to love and care for in her time of grief.

Hi Helen. You nailed it on the head as usual. She gives my sister purpose and is a great companion. My sister says that Pepper licks her to say she wants her to go to bed. Lol. Thank you for your lovely review
