This is excellent, for sure. I love the sound of this poem from the use of repletion of letter sounds, as well as the thoughts you seamed together seamlessly.

I can only give my humble feedback on the quality of your poem. It is evidently very well thought out, with carefully selected wording to achieve the exact effect you wanted. The alliteration in the verses is powerful and sharp. I like the way you close the verses with the repeat of the first two verses, with the distinct reversal of the adjectives.
You are for sure a great poet!!! I hate to say it, but I don't have any six left but know that your work is outstanding. It's certainly 'NOT JUST A POEM'...LOL...!

This is a dark poem starting with the dead red barn and dark dead shed, plus a broken windmill.
This is a dead place. There is no "life." but to assume the owner died here.
Thanks for sharing this poem.

I love the expression, "betwixt and between" which speaks of being in no man's land, such a seemingly neutral place to be, yet it can be anything but, this a great short form poem, which says all it needs to say, well done, blessings Roy

Hi Tom,
This free verse of tersets uses repetition to bring a feeling of being entangled in a web of net of life and death. We are surrounded by both all the time and need to realize it will one day be us.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a nice weekend.

Very artistic and good use of imagery. The dead red barn broken windmill and dead shed really bring the poem to life and enable the reader to visualize and and quite literally get the picture.

nice and short set of verses on life, and the problems we all face going through life and ending with our death - we all end up there in the end as Bugs Bunny once said
"Relax, Doc. None of us get out of life alive"

The alliteration is alive and well in this poem. My mind wondered as I read. I am wondering about the stories this dead red barn could tell. I know they're plently. Thank you for reposting. I enjoyed reading.

Such vivid imagery to ponder - kind of like life. The metaphors are rich and give one much to ponder.
Always enjoy your work.
Blessings
