Don't we all hate "bad hair days"?
Your poem captures the feeling with a few short words.
Good choice of words--frizz, red, thick.
I can feel the struggle!

Yes, it seems everyday of the week, I too, have a bad hair day. So,seemingly, I can relate with this fun haiku, & think there might be some, especially, women who can also with this. .nd very well done, it is...Also the last line words depict exactly what photo indicates, very nicely, along with the other two.
Best wishes for your entry...Caressa_08

From one frustrated curly head to another, I definitely relate to and appreciate this poem. Curls are great to look at and maybe if you're luck, to touch, but its all a lovely presentation that took hours of hard labor, sweat, and tears. Great read! Good luck with the contest!

I've seen bed head before, but this is more like barn head. One day my step daughter asked me to comb the tangles out of her hair. She never asked me again. I don't know why. I tried to tell her it wasn't my fault.

Exceptional. Ha Ha! sounds like you are writing about your hair. I remember how curly, and yes frizzy, your hair was at times. Des is much improved today, hope he stays that way. Love, Auntie.

I think most of us can relate to the line "all like to see but not own." Straight-haired people envy the curly-haired until they consider the upkeep. Fun poem.

I knew a woman with hair like that she was forever having it thinned out by the hairdresser. Hairdresser's delight such women must be. Certainly keeps the coiffeurs in business.

The grass always looks greener on the other side! People might admire things that they won't ever like to posses. You've made excellent use of satire here. The picture adds more fun to the piece. I'm happy I have thin, straight hair hehe! Good luck!
