Looks great. It was just a small thing before. It read really well and the topic itself was fascinating. I like glimpses into conversations about interesting events. I feel like I hitched a ride on the back of your truck or something and overheard your discussion:) Well done.

Thanks for giving me the five stars and I changed the word "smolding" to "smoldering". As they say two heads are better than one.

I don't understand how non combustible or in combustible go together. Are they both things that don't flame? I love the story. It is hard to believe this things happen. The question is my misunderstanding as this is really great.

In spite of everything, thanks for giving me the five stars. I went into to Centralia Mine Fire- WIKI and got the correct words. The change is made in my story. From Centralia Mine Fire "incombustible material" was copied and paste. Once again thanks.

Your narrative is interesting in that it's designed
to share the story of this huge fire in the context
of a conversation between John and the voice of the
writer (first person 'I'). I was intrigued as to the
reason the blaze couldn't be extinguished. It appears
that despite man's best efforts to put it out, the
fault may have lain in man's mining activities. It
seems there's always an equal reaction for an action,
but who knows when it would play out.
I would go back and include a new line for each
speaker. Multiple talkers with one paragraph is
not only confusing, but also wrong stylistically.
Some punctuation and spelling suggestions added.
SPAG:
"well let me think about what I've read" John
said pausing for a moment, ...Capitalise "Well
(new spoken sentence)
...insert a comma after 'read'.
from smolding trash...smoldering

Mr. Fowler, thanks for taking the time to read this story, if you check WIKI it will have a lot of information.
I will make the changes that you recommended because you are an expert.
Nevertheless, thanks for the five stars as well.
What is "SPAG" if you have time to answer?
