The picture is a perfect fit for your 2-4-2 poem. A child going after bubbles is a sight to enjoy. As you said, they are metaphors as life is like a bubble rising high with hopes. But tragedy can strike any moment and the bubble might burst. A good entry for the contest.

Hello Cherry Ray - Glad you enjoyed it and hope your spirits were raised an itty-bit. Of course, all bubbles eventually pop. The good news is we can always make more. I'd bet Henry likes bubbles, and even bubble baths. You probably liked some Champagne bubbles to bring in the New Year at one time. Bubbles can be fun.. Do appreciate all your comments. Squeezing all those bubbles into only 8 silly-bells practically wore me out - need some more 'bubbly' and a nap ... ;o) Art

For a very short moment I thought of watching bubbles and you're right, their flight captures for the moment of their tiny beautiful existence. You have to suspend all other thoughts to beg there in that moment. Worries included. An excellent, well observed thought. Best of luck.

Bubbles of course can refer to those found in alcohol beverages, but more importantly just life's bubbles of joy and then of course real bubbles. LOL.
