You said what I feel ....
Here I am, Lord
in small ways or in large
although I am not perfect
I am surely Yours....I know I am not perfect but I have my hand in the One who is
Well written poem. God bless you for your faith

Your poem is a beautiful poem of faith. Your free verse lines move with a lovely rhythm.
You've made wonderful use of enjambment, and alliteration with world/worth; despair/doom; full of faith. Your last stanza particularly moved me:
Here I am, Lord
in small ways or in large
although I am not perfect
I am surely Yours
Best of luck in the contest! Take care. Alana

a beautiful made poem, i love the line "fallen but forgiven". it clearly demonstrates me two things that there is a hope the supreme power is still there to help you and another it may be you recognized his grace after you fall , may be he remains always there with you but you don't pay attention to him. well done for the beautiful ode.

Jesus promises to be with us always. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very inspirational read.

Hi Rdf---
This is truly a beautiful poem of faith and devotion. The artwork is also a wonderful portrayal of someone lost, seeking to find themselves.
Stunning piece of work. Good luck in the contest.

I love the alliterative, fallen but forgiven
good alliteration in when the world/worth
and in full of faith and others
excellent use of enjambment
good use of occasional rhyme and proximate rhyme
a soulful poem of faith, filled with heartfelt emotion

I'm not sure many of us think to say 'thank you' each day and this is a lovely incentive. None of us are worthy, but at least we are never shown a closed door when coming to the feet of our Lord. Beautiful message. AT=/

thanks so much, AT - I do try to thank Him for another day before I get up every morning, even if I don't remember to do other things as I should - love, jan

This is such a beautiful poem. We all have fallen and but for the grace of God we would be badly off as far as heaven bound. Thank God that he loves us unconditionally, otherwise, none of us would have a chance. This is wonderful writing.

Simply beautiful! Ah, the wonders of God's grace! It can not be measured. He said, "Come unto to me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Bring all your burdens to Him and He will fix it in His own way and in His own time! There is no need to despair, worry, need, hurt or feel beat down...God's got you! You can always find comfort in is holy word. I truly enjoyed your poem, it was quite inspiring!

Jan, I haven't seen your name grace my messages for months and months. It's so nice to see you back. This poem is lovely and the presentation is also. However, there appears to have been some sadness in your life and I'm sorry for that. Hugs and smiles. Carole
