This was pretty good writing. Even though I'm jumping in the middle of this, I can still enjoy the mastery of your writing ability. I particularly like how crisp your dialogue was. And, of course, having great tension such as this doesn't hurt either.

There was just a right amount of tension in this chapter. It appears we are close to finding out who the murderer is. Could murderer be one of the victims of Monsignor Lew Flaherty's or a relative of a victim? Well done, Bev. I'm anxious to read the next chapter.
