This is a very moving letter to God. Mourning the death of a sibling has to be a difficult process to go through. I hope that God responds to your request quickly. Good luck in the contest.

Author X,
Your letter to God is beautifully written with rich imagery. I enjoy your great narrative voice and excellent detailed writing. You also used effective metaphor: "You love us beyond measure & toll on him." I hope your husband seeks the mourning solice he needs.
Comments: I wish you good luck in the Dear God, writing prompt with your loveky letter writing. I would recommend your piece to other reviewers. Blessed day to you.
Missy.

Your Dear God Letter, Dear God, Please Help, is so lovely. I like how you first thanked God and then asked him for help for someone other than yourself.

Beautiful letter.
Wonderful heart.
So very unselfish.
We have a wonderful Father who knows the heart of all His children. Ezekiel 44 speaks of the millennium(1000 year reign of Christ) in which the Zadok will be allowed to approach and "teach" those who have died and may not have made it. They will be permitted to go to a family member v. 25 and teach them the difference between the profane and holy.v.23-24 Then at the end of the millennium they will be tested once again when satan is loosed once more time for a short time. Rev.20:3
Our Father knew and provided, for the fact that many of his children would need this chance because of all the untruths and false preachings being taught here on earth.
Ez.44 through 48 teaches us more of the millennium than anywhere else in God's word.
No one is judged until the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ. And, the millennium is a time of teaching. It is not a second chance, but in many cases it will be the only time that many of God's children will finally be hearing the truth without any influence from satan.
Remember, during the millennium satan will not be allowed to influence, for he will be in chains until after the millennium...and then for just a short time. Rev.20
The second death is the death of the soul. Those who are taught and make it (finally believe) after the millennium, do not face the second death.
The judgement seat of Christ does not happen for anyone until after the millennium is complete.
Rev. 20:10-15
Read all of it and be at peace...your husband also.
And all the glory be unto God.
Have a blessed day, my friend.

You are so very welcome, my friend.
Be assured of one thing, God never forgets His promises.
Your precious husband will see his brother again. They will recognize one another's spirit and your husband will be permitted to go to his brother and once and for all brings God's truth to him without the evil influence of satan. Read all of EZ.44
Not one soul has been judged to hell yet, EXCEPT satan's. That is why he is referred to as son of perdition. Perdition means to have been judged to hell, but he is the only one to date.
Judgement day for the rest of the world, is not until after the millennium and the teachings that will go on there.
God is so good.
All praise and glory be unto Him.

Aw! So sorry for your husband's and your loss of your brother-in-law. I believe that God understands those who do not go out of their way to follow him. He knows our hearts. If our hearts are true and we help each other, if we lived in a way that tried to help others, I believe he takes us anyway. I am certainly no expert, but I just believe so strongly in Our Lord, I don't think He has such strict rules that he eliminates entry into His Kingdom for every single thing that is not perfect. He knows we are not perfect. Your letter to Him is beautiful and honest. God bless your family.

Very nice. Few things bring a tear to my eye, but this one did the trick. I like the concept of opening with "I'll make this letter brief." It just shows that it isn't the quantity of words that matter, but the content. Loved it.
Thanks for sharing.

Oh, how sad... and before he passed your husband is left not knowing if he accepted Christ into his heart -- those are the ones that are the hardest because at their last breath they could have accepted His grace and forgiveness. But we, the living are left not knowing. We have lost so many and we are left not knowing. This is such a great contest...well done and God bless you and your husband.
